appiChar prides itself on partnering with the cream of the crop in the not-for-profit sector. The partners that appiChar choose to work with have an abundance of proven experience and share our ethos of making the sector a better, more efficient place.  

appiChar has partnerships with the CTT (Charity Technology Trust, who also selected appiChar from all the major suppliers in the sector to manage their internal IT systems), and Civica Plc ( who has negotiated considerable discounts from major software suppliers, in some cases providing software to charities for only a small administration fee). The partnerships are reciprocal, both these organisations refering charities and NFPs to appiChar on a regular basis.
 
appiChar and Lasa team up to save the popular IT ‘Suppliers Directory' appiChar has teamed up with the charity, Lasa, to help ensure Lasa's popular online Suppliers Directory remains a free service. The Suppliers Directory is a searchable directory of ICT suppliers who provide goods and services to the voluntary and community sector in England. appiChar have also just sponsored the Lasa European Technology Conference in London.
The National Council for Voluntary Organisations is a registered charity which gives voice and support to civil society. NVCO is a highly effective lobbying organisation and represents the views of its members, and the wider voluntary sector to government, the European Union and other bodies. They are also at the leading edge of research into, and analysis of, the voluntary sector. NVCO has over 7,000 members, over 28,000 staff and over 13 million volunteers working for their members. appiChar are proud to be a member and support NVCO.
 
The Charity Finance Directors' Group is a membership organisation set up in 1987 and specialises in helping charities to manage their accounting, taxation, audit and other finance related functions. They work with other organisations, regulators and charities to input charity expertise to the regulatory process, and to develop best practice in charity management.  
In order to become a Microsoft Certified partner an organisation needs to demonstrate a high level of in-house expertise with Microsoft products. As a certified partner, appiChar is able to benefit from a closer relationship with Microsoft including direct access to Microsoft technical support and access to the latest software before it goes on general release - both of which allow us to provide a better service to our customers.  
Google Grants is a unique in-kind donation program awarding free AdWords advertising to select charitable organisations. From their beginnings in 1997, they have chosen to work with Charity, NGO, Social Enterprise and Sustainability organisations. iT4Communities is a charity supporting IT volunteering in the UK. Founded by the charitable arm of the Information Technologists' Company in 2002, IT4C in 2010 became a programme of Abilitynet. appiChar are a dedicated sponsor of the work IT4C do in the sector and will continue to create new and exciting programmes in the future. One of these will be to launch Micro-Volunteering across the Charity Sector, providing the capability for IT professionals to offer minutes of time via their mobile devices to help charities. This will be branded appiChar and will offer unprecedented brand awareness across the sector.
